did she ever do that before?

I am the kind of girl that you give up the late night text messages
with your ex-girlfriend for
she makes you feel like shit anyways
and the reason why you stopped being on your phone
all the damn time
trying to flirt with someone you hardly even know
to fill a void

but if you don’t drop that for me

who gets caught in a web
with someone who doesn’t look towards the future

To the person who loves her next;
Love her unconditionally. This is important. Sometimes she can be a handful. She knows it. Please be patient and just love her.
Never raise your voice at her. She hates that.
Do not under any circumstance pressure her into anything she doesn’t want to do.
Be honest with her. She’s a big girl. She can take it.
Love her.
And when she’s sad, sometimes doesn’t want to talk about it. Go to her house and climb in bed with her. Hold her all night long, and show her you will always be there for her.
Be her protector. Protect her from all harm.
She can’t cook very well. She tries her best, and it’s the cutest thing you will ever encounter but.. My best advice is to take her to get sushi instead.
Small thoughtful gestures. Always.
Never bore her. Take her on adventures and cute dates. Take her on a penny date. We never got to that. So I leave it to you.
Buy her concert tickets to her favorite band no matter how many miles away the show will be.
Support her when she swims. Be there.
She doesn’t need to be reminded of how pretty she is every day. She knows she’s beautiful. Instead of telling her about what she already knows, show her every inch of what you love and adore.
She only trust her father, but she could trust you as well. It will take a while.. But never give her a reason not to trust you.
She doesn’t care about money.
She has crazy and wild dreams. Support them.
But please, please don’t make the mistakes I made. Please love her, and take care of her. But do not ever become her chains. Suffocate her with positivity, and let it run throughout her body. She’s the best thing that ever happened to me. She will be the best thing that will ever happen to you. Do not take her for granted, and do all the things I didn’t get the chance to do.

Listen, if you’re going to leave, that’s fine. and I know you promised you wouldn’t 5 months ago while I was crying into your neck, but I also know that sometimes it rains even when it’s not supposed to and sometimes boys kiss girls they shouldn’t and we tear flowers out of the ground just to watch them die and things change, so I understand if you’re done.
